Barbara Abbate

Barbara Abbate taught Theatre and Broadcasting in New York City and was an Adjunct Professor of Educational Video at Columbia Teacher’s College. She is the author of Awareness High School: A Practical Guide to Self-Discovery and Mastery for Students, Teachers, and Parents, which explores and encourages the teaching of awareness as the core curriculum, emphasizing curiosity, creativity and critical thinking.

Mahani Zubedy

Mahani Zubedy worked in Theatre in Education and helped give voice to high schoolers through Theatre of the Oppressed in Malaysia. She wrote for children’s publications and authored picture books The Special Day and Wild Malaysia ABC. She founded StorySistas where women connect and empower through stories.
