While working as a professional photographer, Peggy founded The Afghan Women’s Project and wrote Gathering Strength: Conversations with Afghan Women, https://kelseys.net  Now retired, she’s reveling in (and guarding) this time to relax into being more than doing, basking in her role as grandmother, and awaiting her next calling (and spate of busyness).

She believes that it’s the role of elders to provide perspective to those who haven’t lived as long.
